<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further simplify a structure in carrying out electrical connection between a cable and a board. <P>SOLUTION: This connector 20 is positioned by a positioning pin 25 engaging with a through-hole 34 formed on an FPC 30 and a positioning guide at a predetermined position for electrically connecting the FPC 30 to a board 10 by one or more contacts 23 contacting cable-side contacts 32 and board-side contacts 12 and having conductivity and flexibility; and the FPC 30, the contacts 23 and the board 10 are pressed in the state where the FPC 30 is positioned to fix the FPC 30 by a fixing member 26. In this case, in the state where the contacts 23 having flexibility contact the contacts of the FPC 30 and the contacts on the board 10, they can be electrically connected with one another by being pressed by the fixing member.
