<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having an improved low temperature fixability without deteriorating hot offset resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toner includes a binder resin, carnauba wax dispersed in the binder resin and a colorant, wherein the binder resin includes a reaction product of a vinyl resin (A) having a carboxyl group and a higher fatty acid and a vinyl resin (B) having a glycidyl group, and primarily includes a component originated from the vinyl resin (A).
