REGENERATIVE MOISTURE ABSORBENT

A regenerative moisture absorbent which comprises a porous material (2) comprising skeletons (11) and pores (12) formed by the skeletons (11) and a deliquescent substance (3) arranged on the surface of the porous material (2), wherein the deliquescent substance (3) is a chloride or bromide of at least one metal selected from a group consisting of calcium, lithium and magnesium, and wherein the diameter of each of the pores (12) is 1 to 50 nm.  The regenerative moisture absorbent is improved in the absorption/release quantity per unit of time.
