METHOD, SYSTEM AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM FOR REMOVING REDUNDANCY AMONG PANORAMIC IMAGES

PURPOSE: A method, a system and a computer-readable recording medium for removing redundancy among panoramic images are provided to save the storage apace of a database by using only image including a feature of a certain object after removing the image duplication for the certain object from plural panorama images. CONSTITUTION: A position specifying unit(210) specifies the photographing position of a panorama image, and an identical object recognizer(220) recognizes a specific identical feature in at least two panorama images. A duplication remover(230) extracts the image of the certain object in the plural panorama image from the plural panorama images, and determines the image only including the certain object as a reference image for the certain object.
