<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling cap whose main body can easily be removed from a glass bottle or a PET bottle with general consumer's hand without using a tool or the like, which can be made to waste for disposal as a recyclable waste material by separatly sorting the cap main body of plastic from the glass bottle or the PET bottle, whose main body has a shape not so different from a conventional cap, and moreover, which can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: A protrusion 14, which is engaged with a step 32 provided at a mouth of a glass bottle 30 and is designed so as to prevent a cap main body 10 from coning off, is formed on an inner wall face of a cylindrical portion 12 of the cap main body 10 in the peripheral direction of the cylindrical portion 12. A part of the cylindrical portion 12, which is located in the peripheral direction thereof, is subjected to cut machining 17 in the form of two lengthwise lines, and a protrusion 14a low in height is formed in the vicinity of each of both outsides located in the peripheral direction of the cut-machined part 17. By pushing up an inner side 19 of the cut-machined part 17 of the cylindrical portion 12 from below, the cut-machined part 17 is folded while being separated from the cap main body 10, thereby enabling the cap main body 10 to be removed freely from the mouth of the glass bottle 30.</p> |
