Disclosed is an inkjet textile printing method which does not require a steam treatment (steaming) and water washing, which have been necessary for conventional inkjet textile printing methods. Specifically disclosed is an inkjet textile printing method using an aqueous ink, which is characterized by comprising an ejection step wherein the aqueous ink is ejected onto a fabric medium by inkjet, and a microwave irradiation step wherein the fabric medium on which the aqueous ink is ejected is irradiated with a microwave. The inkjet textile printing method is also characterized in that an aqueous ink containing water, an anionic dye containing an acidic dye or a reactive die, a polyhydric alcohol and a compound having an activity of accelerating fixation of a coloring material to the fabric medium when the fabric medium on which the aqueous ink is ejected is irradiated with a microwave, is used as the aqueous ink. |
