SYSTEM AND METHOD TO CONTROL A MONORAIL VEHICLES WITH A RFID AND RADIO COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling the drive of a monorail vehicle are provided to detect the location of the monorail vehicle through a radio-frequency identification(RFID) communication network and a wireless communication network. CONSTITUTION: An RFID communication network(200) performs a non-contact communication with a vehicle system through an RFID tag. A wireless communication network performs a wireless communication. One or more vehicle system(100) is installed to a monorail-vehicle. The vehicle system performs a wireless communication with the wireless communication network. The vehicle system controls the drive of the monorail-vehicle by performing a non-contact communication with the RFID communication network. A control-room system(400) performs a communication with the wireless communication network and remotely monitors the driving state of the monorail-vehicle.
