PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire gripping a transponder that allows certain reading or writing of information of the transponder for storing various information and has high durability and an excellent communication characteristic during running of a vehicle, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, the transponder coated with resin on the outside of the surface of the pneumatic tire is partially covered with side tread rubber and gripped. The transponder coated with the resin is previously engaged with a recessed part in the surface of a die, and then unvulcanized tire is inserted into the die and vulcanized. |
