PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a high reliability by enhancing high quality and safety in particular, while preventing internal short-circuiting and getting desired performance, in an nonaqueous gel secondary battery to repeat charge and discharge. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous gel secondary battery has a positive electrode 14 having a positive electrode active material layer 13 adhering to a positive electrode collector 12 and a negative electrode 17 having a negative electrode active material layer 16 adhering to a negative electrode collector 15, and its positive electrode and negative electrode are structured so that the painted surfaces of the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode layer are superimposed each other through a gel layer 18 containing an electrolyte. The gel layer 18 is formed so as to cover the rim parts of the positive electrode and the negative electrode, that is, the rim part of each electrode, excluding the lead-out part of a terminal lead, for instance the side rims excluding a side rim where the terminal lead is led out, and internal short- circuiting is prevented from occurring. |
