PURPOSE: A device and a method for inputting key in an image display device are provided to perform operation which is similar to local key input. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(150) comprises at least one sensor which senses key input operation. When an input signal is detected, a comparison unit compares intensity of the input signal among the sensors. A control unit(100) comprises an output signal request unit, an input signal sensing unit, a counter and a microcomputer. The control unit performs key input operation corresponding to a sensor which the intensity of the input signal is first according to the comparison result of the comparison unit. |
