The present invention consists of a device (1) and a method for monitoring leakage in plastic containers (2), particularly in large-sized containers having a lower valve for discharging the content thereof, through the use of automatized means for conveyance of the containers in the circuit of the device as well as for the lifting and lowering thereof, and means for the computerized detection of air leakage thanks to the images obtained by video cameras (18) operating in an air leakage verification tank (5). |
