A medical device (1) for measuring conditions of a living body, in which depressions (8) are formed in outer surfaces (surfaces (6, 7)) of a housing (2) of the medical device. Anti-slip members (3) are respectively applied to the insides of the depressions (8). Also, inside each depression (8) is formed another depression (9), which is formed such that, when the anti-slip member (3) is applied to the inside of the depression (8), an end (10) of the depression (9) is not covered by the anti-slip member (3). When a display screen (4) for displaying measurement results is provided on the housing (2), the surfaces (6, 7) are preferably adjacent to a surface (5) where the display screen (4) is provided.
