<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging bag for heating by microwave oven in which a content is easy to fill, the content can safely be heat-cooked without overflowing, and which is not separated by a pressure or an impact being applied at the times of transport or storage, can quickly discharge steam from the lowermost section of a point sealed section, can automatically reduce the internal pressure, has self-standing property as well, is excellent in display effects at a store as well, and can be sealed with a favorable productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A gusset section having a pleat-like folded back section on the inside is formed by folding back front and rear body members facing each other with a sealant layer on the inside in such a manner that the sealant layer may become inside on the bottom section of the body members. The end edge sections of the bottom section are heat-bonded, and the gusset section on the bottom section is opened, and thus, the gusset bag of a self-standable configuration is formed.
