<p>Provided is an apparatus for measuring blood flow rate that includes a light emitting portion for irradiating living tissues with laser light, a photo-detector for detecting at least one of reflection, scattering, or absorption of the laser light, and an operation portion for calculating blood flow rate based on the difference between the spectrum of the laser light from the light emitting portion and the spectrum of the light detected by the photo-detector.
