<p>The machine (10) has a machine housing (11) receiving a strapping unit and including a processing table (12) for supporting a packing piece i.e. stack of newspaper, to be strapped. The machine housing is arranged on a vertically adjustable supporting frame (15), which is formed as a scissor lifting unit with cross bars (17, 18). The supporting frame is provided with a chassis, and the cross bars of the supporting frame are connected with each other by a cross bracket (16). The cross bars of the supporting frame are adjusted by a self-locked spindle drive.</p> |
