MicroRNA (miRNA) process for diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases includes the steps of preparing a sample from the suspect patient and measuring the expression amount of at least one sequence selected under SEQ ID NR: 1 to SEQ ID NR: 29 in the sample. An increased or reduced expression amount in a sequence so selected as against a control sample indicates a heart disease or a predisposition towards one.
