PURPOSE: A bus bar overheating prevention device using an infrared ray temperature sensor is provided to install an infrared ray temperature sensor in an entrance to the horizontal direction and to check the temperature of the each bus bars to detect the heat generation in advance. CONSTITUTION: A bus bar overheating prevention device using an infrared ray temperature sensor comprises a bus bar(100) which are installed in the inside of a cabinet(300) and are located on a R,S,T fixed and coupled by a bolt(110), a temperature sensor(200) which is separately installed on a bolt coupling position of the bus bar, an indicator for collecting temperature(400) which wirelessly communicates the collecting the temperature data measured by the infrared temperature sensor, and a controller(500) which alarms if the controller is out of a reference temperature value by being offered the temperature information from the indicator.
