FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, particularly to oil-and-gas production, and can be used in development of oil and gas wells. Device to fabricate edge filter from shaped wire comprises bed, drive, support bush, device to feed shaped wire and shaped wire contact welding device and carcass axial transfer mechanism. Aforesaid drive is articulated via gear and transfer box with spindle and slide. Support bush is fitted on spindle and represents a bush with diametre mating that of edge filters to be fabricated. Wire contact welding mechanism comprises welding machine, welding roller arranged in roller clamp to radially move and revolve. Carcass axial drive seats on machine support and represents a shaft running in bearings fitted in machine body and articulated with spindle via bar that synchronises shaft and spindle rpm.
