DETECTION APPARATUS OF COATING DEFECTS CONNECTED PIG

PURPOSE: A coating defect detection device mounted on a pig is provided to secure the coating state of a pipe without influence in the surrounding environment. CONSTITUTION: A coating defect detection device mounted on a pig comprises an electromagnetic ultrasonic transmitter(100), an electromagnetic ultrasonic receiver(200), a sinusoidal wave generating unit and a controller. The electromagnetic ultrasonic transmitter is installed to the ultrasonic wave pig connected to the magnetic leakage pig through the connection part. The electromagnetic ultrasonic transmitter produces and outputs the electromagnetic ultrasonic wave according to the inputted sinusoidal wave. The electromagnetic ultrasonic receiver is installed to the ultrasonic wave pig. The electromagnetic ultrasonic receiver receives the electromagnetic ultrasonic wave transmitted to the adjacent electromagnetic ultrasonic transmitter and it outputs. The sinusoidal wave generating unit is installed on the ultrasonic wave pig and it generates sinusoidal wave and outputs to the electromagnetic ultrasonic transmitter. The controller controls the sinusoidal wave generating unit and offers it to the electromagnetic ultrasonic transmitter.
