FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: emergency call is established via the basic station that supports emergency calls and is active at the moment. Unit of wireless transfer/reception (WTRU) sends emergency call message to basic station WMAN to execute emergency call, together with indication of emergency call. Basic station and WTRU may exchange information on resources related to support of emergency calls. Information on location of WTRU is also sent to centre of emergency calls processing. Basic station may operate as a mediator for WTRU, if WTRU does not have all required functional resources for execution of emergency call.
