A system for managing a virtual account is provided to enable a financial facility to issue the virtual account by using a process for issuing virtual financial information to a smart card previously issued to a customer according to a request of a cooperated facility, and store banking information generated through the virtual account to a virtual bankbook by using the virtual bankbook included in the smart card. A smart card is equipped with a storage medium for storing a virtual account(110) linked with a main account established in a financial facility or virtual financial information(120), which includes a virtual bankbook storing banking information of the virtual account. A card terminal provides a virtual bankbook service for the virtual account through the smart card. The card terminal includes an extracting/reading tool reader for extracting/reading the virtual banking information received from the smart card, a providing tool providing banking in connection with financial or cooperated facilities by extracting or generating the virtual account information from the virtual banking information, and an adding or activating tool for adding or updating the banking information to the virtual bankbook information by providing the banking information to the smart card. |
