PURPOSE: An electrolyte and an electrochemical device including thereof are provided to secure the excellent thermal and chemical stability, and to improve the dissociation rate with positive ions. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte contains an ionizable lithium salt and an alkoxyalkyl nitrile marked with chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, R1 is an alkoxy alkyl group marked with R2-O-(CH2)p. R2 is selected from the group consisting of a substituted or non- substituted alkyl group with the carbon number of 1~10, an alkenyl group, and an aryl group. 1~80wt% of alkoxyalkyl nitrile is mixed with the total amount of electrolyte.
