PURPOSE: A ginseng composition and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve functional effect of ginseng and to improve the specific flavor of the ginseng by washing, drying and steaming the ginseng. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a ginseng composition includes the following steps: mixing main roots 10 ~ 90 weight% of four-year-old ginseng and fine root 90 ~ 10 weight% of ginseng; drying brown rice, corn, jujube or bean with water and dehydrating a component by a moisture content of 15 % or less for 7 ~ 10 days; removing moisture of jujube; drying the flesh of jujube in the shade for 20 ~ 30 days; cutting a mixed red ginseng product to 3 ~ 5 mm; compressing the jujube flesh and cutting; and mixing ground red ginseng 40 ~98 weight%, ground brown rice or corn flour 30 ~ 1 weight%, ground jujube or ground bean 30 ~ 1 weight%.
