PURPOSE: A system and method for controlling starting car of automatic transmission are provided to automatically operate starting motor without passive operation by a driver. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling starting car of automatic transmission comprises: a starting motor(27) which generates torque for starting engine; a starting relay(25) for operating the starting motor; and an engines control unit(30). In the case that the rotation number of the engine is less than boundary value, the engine control unit determines the satisfaction of restart condition and drives by controlling the starting relay.
