PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing foreign materials is provided to control or remove scale or rust from the inside of a pipe using vortex. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing foreign materials comprises a body(10), an air injecting unit(60), an air jetting unit(30), and a fixing unit(40). The body has an inlet port, a vent, and an air communicating hole. The air injecting unit comprises an air inflow hole, an air supply part, and a backflow prevention valve. The air inflow hole is formed into the same direction as the flow of the water transferred inside of the body. The backflow prevention valve prevents the backward flowing of the water and the air. A plurality of ejecting holes of the air sprayer obliquely sprays the air to inside the slope crab. The fixing unit communicates with a peripheral device.
