PURPOSE: A novel compound and an organic electronic device using the same are provided to improve efficiency, driving voltage, and stability of the organic electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A novel compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. An organic electronic device comprises a first electrode, second electrode, and one or more organic layer(s) between the first and second electrodes. One of more organic layers contain the compound of chemical formula 1. The organic layer comprises a hole injection layer and hole transport layer. The organic electronic device is organic light emitting device, organic phosphorescence device, organic solar cell, organic photoconductor(OPC) or organic transistor.
