PURPOSE: A method and a device of reproducing contents are provided to store the contents and licensed file protected by DRM technology in a mobile storage device, thereby eliminating restraints according to file capacity of a contents reproducing device. CONSTITUTION: A mobile storage device(2) comprise a contents storage unit(40) and license file storage unit(50). The contents storage unit stores contents protected by DRM(Digital Rights Management) technology. The license file storage stores license file. A contents storage unit(11) unit stores a contents. A license file storage(12) stores license file corresponding to the stored contents. A license management file storage unit(13) stores license management file for detecting reusing license file.
