PURPOSE: An adaptive green outlet is provided to automatically set up a standby power or overpower cutoff reference value by automatically sensing the attachment and detachment of an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A cutoff reference value change decision unit(311) compares standby power or overpower measurement value detected by a power detector with a cutoff reference value storage unit(312) to determine a standby power or overpower cutoff reference value. A power cutoff decision unit(313) compares the standby power or overpower cutoff reference value or a control signal of the cutoff reference value change decision unit with the measured power of the power detection unit to determined a power cutoff unit(322).
