The electroluminescent panel includes light extraction elements linking the light emitting cells to the output surface. There may be reflective surfaces (32), reflecting light rays travelling from the input interface surface to the output interface surface, thus reducing the angle of incidence of these rays on the output surface. The electroluminescent panel is equipped with light extraction elements. Each optical light extraction element (30) comprises firstly an input interface (31) which is optically coupled with the emissive surface of the cells, or the surface of the substrate of the panel. This surface captures the light emitted by this surface. The element also comprises an output interface (33) having a suitable shape such that the rays emitted by the cells pass through the output interface. Optionally there may also be reflective surfaces (32), reflecting light rays travelling from the input interface surface to the output interface surface, thus reducing the angle of incidence of these rays on the output surface. The reflective surfaces are curved in order to collect efficiently the light from the input surfaces, and re-direct this to the output surface. |
