PURPOSE: A device for controlling a side mirror is provided to reduce the size of the device by parallelly arranging the rotational centers of gears, and to control a side mirror back and forth using one motor. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling a side mirror comprises a controller, a motor, a gear box, and a side mirror. The controller has an operating unit. The motor is powered by a signal of the controller. The gear box has first and second direction driving units(320,330) which are simultaneously powered by the driving force of the motor. A screw cap(325) of the first direction driving unit is moved along a screw part of a screw rod(323). A cam cap(340) of the second direction driving unit is moved along a cam groove(338) and a peripheral groove of a cam rod(337). The side mirror is powered by the movement of the screw cap and the cam cap.
