PURPOSE: A method for etching the sealing unit of a light emitting diode(LED) and an etching pattern of the same are provided to regulate the size of a light spreading angle by forming the upper side shape of the sealing unit based on the pitches of concentric circles of a ring pattern. CONSTITUTION: A laser generator(22) generates a laser beam(23). The laser generator uses a various wavelengths of lasers as the energy source for etching the sealing unit(12) of a light emitting diode(1). A laser beam scanning part(24) vertically and horizontally scanning with the laser beam. A focusing lens part(26) generates a small laser spot. The light emitting diode is corrected arranged on a stage(28). |
