PURPOSE: A gas discharge device is provided to achieve the reduction of length and remove the need of waterproofing or sealing treatment because a connecting member is formed of a single element. CONSTITUTION: A gas discharge device comprises a head(10), a spring(20), a connecting member(30), a bolt(40), a first nut(50), a front ferrule(60), a rear ferrule(70), and a second nut(80). The head has a gas exhaust port(12) and a head screw part(14). The spring has a first external diameter extension part(24) and a coil spring(26). The connecting member is located behind the head and has a pipe shape in whole. The bolt is coupled with the head as a bolt female screw part(44) and a head screw part are engaged with each other. The first nut is coupled to a first male screw part(31) of the connecting member. The front ferrule is inserted into an inner declined part of the connecting member. The rear ferrule is inserted into an inner declined part of the connecting member, with an end partially inserted to the larger diameter side of the front ferrule. The second nut is coupled to a second male screw part(33) of the connecting member and connected to the connecting member with the front and rear ferrules accepted therein.
