PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin composition that suppresses the signs of ageing.

SOLUTION: The cosmetic composition and/or a dermatological composition comprises a combination of at least one monosaccharide selected from among mannose, rhamnose and a mixture thereof and at least one additional compound selected from among ascorbic acid, an analogue thereof and a mixture thereof.
