PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that enables a great number of client terminals and a great number of servers to have high-throughput TCP communications, by reducing the overhead associated with a protocol of the TCP communications and complex processings. SOLUTION: A communication terminal of the communication system receives a TCP packet from an opposite-side communication terminal by a transmission and reception means 1; detects an opposite connection state by an opposite connection state detection means 3, based on a unique identification code inserted into an option area of a TCP header of the TCP packet by a unique identification code insertion means 2 of the opposite-side communication terminal and indicating the connection state; and determines the next action of the TCP communication by a next action determination means 4, based on the detected opposite connection state.
