PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit which is small, high-speed and low-cost and is stable of operation by enabling use of a smoothing capacitance which has an ESR with a small resistance value. SOLUTION: It has the first switch element 1, which is provided between the first power line PSL and one end of a coil 3, the smoothing capacitance 4, which is connected between the other end of the coil and the second power line GND, a coil-current-equivalent wave generating circuit 7, which generates wave form equivalent to a current flowing to the coil, an adder 8, which adds the output signal of the coil-current-equivalent wave generating circuit to the output voltage, and a comparator 5, which controls the switching of the first switch element by comparing the output signal of the adder with a reference voltage.
