<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for improving wireless performance of a wireless data terminal device so as to reduce the influence on wireless performance of a data card, brought about due to change in a movable USB connector of the data card and to improve the wireless performance of the data card that has a detachable-type USB connector. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless data terminal device includes the detachable type USB connector and a main circuit board. At least two redundant ground connections are provided between the detachable type USB connector and the main circuit board. Grounding points of the at least two redundant ground connections are not adjacent to each other. Additionally, the method for improving wireless performance of the wireless data terminal device is provided. By using the wireless data terminal device or the method for improving the wireless performance of the wireless data terminal device, the connection between a ground plane of the wireless data terminal device and the ground plane of a computer is effectively enhanced.
