PLATELET ADP RECEPTOR INHIBITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platelet ADP receptor inhibitor having anti-thrombotic activity and useful for preventing and/or treating cardiovascular diseases, particularly thrombosis-related diseases.

SOLUTION: New compounds expressed by formula (I)-formula (VIII) are provided. More concretely, sulfonylurea derivatives, sulfonylthiourea derivatives, sulfonylguanidine derivatives, sulfonylcyanoguanidine derivatives, thioacylsulfonamide derivatives and acylsulfonamide derivatives which are effective platelet ADP receptor inhibitors are cited. These derivatives can be used in various pharmaceutical compositions and are particularly effective for preventing and/or treating cardiovascular diseases (particularly cardiovascular diseases associated with thrombosis). A method for preventing or treating thrombosis in mammals is also provided. The method includes a process for administering a therapeutically effective amount of the compounds represented by formula (I)-formula (VIII) or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
