CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that is installable in a wiring material having a plurality of small diameter conductors, and to provide a method of manufacturing the connector.

SOLUTION: The connector C includes: a plurality of terminal connectors 16 formed in the wiring material 10; a plurality of terminals 20; and an insulating housing 30 holding these terminals. The wiring material 10 has a plurality of conductors and insulating layers aligned with each other in one direction, and each conductor is locally exposed at each terminal connector 16. Each terminal 20 has a wiring material insertion part 22 into which each terminal connector 16 can be inserted along the alignment direction of the terminal connectors, and a connection medium 40 is interposed between the wiring material insertion part 22 and the terminal connector 16. The connection medium 40 is composed of a conductive adhesive or the like, and the exposed conductor and the wiring material insertion part 22 are electrically made conductive at the terminal connector 16 while fixing each terminal connector 16 to the wiring material insertion part 22.
