<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a highly reliable inspection of the control of a microcomputer based on detection signals in a game machine in which the game control based on the detection signals from a detection means is executed by the microcomputer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes a game control device including the detection means for detecting entrance of game balls, an input port circuit for inputting detection signals, and the microcomputer for controlling the play based on the detection signals. The game control device includes a voltage converting circuit for reducing the detection signals to voltage values which can be detected by the microcomputer and an irreversible signal transmission circuit between the detection means and the input port circuit. A signal extracting area for outputting the detection signals to outside is formed in the game control device, and the detection signals are always transmitted to the signal extracting area from the output part of the signal transmission circuit. A signal terminal connected to the signal extracting area is usually detached from a wiring pattern except when the inspection is carried out, and the microcomputer executes the same game control when the signal terminal is detached as the game control executed when the signal terminal is attached.
