<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a highly reliable inspection of the control of a microcomputer based on detection signals in a game machine in which the game control based on the detection signals from detection means is executed by the microcomputer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes the detection means for detecting entrance of game balls into a winning part, a game control device for controlling a game, and a variable winning device provided in the winning part. The game control device includes the microcomputer for controlling the game; an output port circuit for outputting control command signals; a drive circuit for driving the variable winning device based on the control command signals; and an input port circuit for inputting the detection signals from the detection means. The game control device also has a voltage converting circuit for reducing the detection signals to voltage values and an irreversible signal transmission circuit provided between the detection means and the input port circuit. The control command signals and the detection signals from the detection means are transmitted to a signal extracting area to which a signal terminal is connected. The signal terminal is usually detached except when the inspection is carried out by using an inspection device.
