The invention relates to a device (1) for self-adjusting and a method for arranging an impulse transmitter (7) in relation to a rotor (8). The impulse transmitter (7) comprises a cylindrical sensor head (9) and an adapter (10) for a measuring and supply cable (11). An elastic collet (12) that radially comprises the cylindrical sensor head (9) is arranged in a borehole (13) of a holding element (14) in a non-positively engaged manner, the collet (12) forming a press fit of the sensor head (9) in the borehole (13). The press fit enables a rotation and an axial movement between the holding element (14) and the sensor head (9). The impulse transmitter (7) has an active orientation-dependent cylindrical sensor head (9), and the collet (12) or the impulse transmitter (7) comprises a system (15) for preventing twisting in relation to the holding element (14). The anti-twist system (15) enables an axial movement of the sensor head (9) in the collet (12) in relation to the rotor (8), for self-adjusting while maintaining the radial orientation of the sensor head (9) in relation to the rotor (8). |
