OPTICAL DISC DRIVE AND DATA LINE CURRENT CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: An optical disk drive and a data line current control method are provided to detect a pulse period of a data line and level transition time, thereby changeably adjusting a current value of the data line. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit(19) changeably adjusts a current value of a data line connected to a host. A microcomputer(16) detects a pulse period of the data line connected to the host and level transition time. The microcomputer determines whether a value which divides the level transition time by the pulse period is a preset standard value in advance. The microcomputer maintains a current value of the data line or changeably adjusts the current value fo the data line by controlling an operation of the power supply unit.
