PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manual level adjustment in configuration for performing automatic level adjustment after the manual level adjustment. SOLUTION: An audio signal input by an audio input means (28) is level-adjusted by a manual volume (36) in accordance with a manual adjustment amount. An ALC (automatic level controller) (38) performs automatic level adjustment on an output audio signal of the manual volume (36) by an adjustment amount according to its audio level. A level detector (42) detects a level of the output audio signal from the ALC (38) and supplies a detection result to a display image generating device (24). The ALC (38) supplies to the display image generating device (24) information indicative of an operating situation (whether it is during a suppression operation and an operating ratio).
