摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving the sensitivity of mass spectrometry for biological molecules and a method for a rapid and simple analysis of biological molecules, by making use of the method for improving the sensitivity in mass spectrometry. SOLUTION: A method for amidating a sugar chain includes the step of performing amidation on a carboxyl group of a sugar chain by the use of an amidating reagent selected from among a group, consisting of ammonium chloride [<SP>14</SP>N] and ammonium chloride [<SP>15</SP>N] and 4-(4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine-2-yl)-4-methyl morpholinium=chloride n hydrate; and obtaining an amidated form of the sugar chain.
