PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide what can reduce man-hours and miscalculation and standardize calculation results by automatically calculating casting conditions when the conditions of a metal mold are changed. SOLUTION: A metal mold design support program makes a computer execute prescribed arithmetic processing to output design support information for supporting the design of a metal mold to be provided to the casting of a prescribed molded body. Arithmetic processing includes casting condition calculation processing for calculating casting conditions based on metal mold design data and the specification data of a molding device for projecting molten metal to the metal mold, both data being prestored in a storage part; and casting condition evaluation processing for comparing the casting condition calculated by the casting condition calculation processing with an evaluation threshold prestored in the storage part thereby outputting design support information showing the validity of the design of a metal mold shown by metal mold design data.
