PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apartment house wherein a living space is diversified and the space can be effectively utilized at a relatively low cost. SOLUTION: This apartment house 1 includes a two-storied maisonette dwelling unit 4M, and a one-storied dwelling unit 4S adjacent to the upper part of the maisonette dwelling unit 4M. A part of the south-side boundary slabs 9 and 10 for partitioning the maisonette dwelling unit 4M and the one-storied dwelling unit 4S is formed as a half-story slab 10 which is positioned at half the story of the maisonette dwelling unit 4M.
