ROLL ALIGNMENT MANAGEMENT METHOD OF TANDEM ROLLING MILL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively manage roll alignments of all rolling stands of a tandem rolling mill with a small working roll and working time and maintain the roll alignment of the entire tandem rolling mill highly accurately. SOLUTION: A reference coordinate system common to all the stands of the tandem rolling mill is formed. The roll alignment of each rolling stand is measured using three-dimensional laser tracking technology or the like. Roll alignment adjustment is carried out so as to allow the measured value to satisfy a predetermined coordinate position in the reference coordinate system, so that the roll alignments of the tandem rolling mill are collectively managed.
