<p>The invention relates to the use of RNA isolated from circulating RNA-proteolipid complex (cRNA-PLC) from body liquids of tumor patients, especially tumor patients suffering from lung cancer, especially small cell lung cancer (SCLC), wherein said RNA was obtained by a specific filtration method. The invention relates above all to the use of this RNA for detecting specific tumor markers present in blood or serum samples of tumor patients by means of corresponding RNA/DNA microchips in order to predict tumor type, disease status and efficacy of a specific anti-cancer treatment.</p> |
