The invention relates to a sensor device 1 for monitoring the state and corrosion in, for example, an aircraft, comprising a capacitor arrangement 20 and a moisture-binding layer 24. The capacitor arrangement 20 is designed to change the capacitance thereof as result of water absorption of the moisture-binding layer 24. The moisture-binding layer 24 can be arranged on the capacitor arrangement 20 in such a way that the water is absorbed irreversibly. In this way, an accumulating moisture sensor can be realized.
