<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy processed food container with a bottomed paper edge frame showing superior performance in fitting together a container body and a lid. <P>SOLUTION: An inwardly sloped locking projection 11 is formed on the upper edge periphery of the paper edge frame 1 whose exterior surface is tapered. An insertion portion 22 to be inserted in the paper edge frame 1 is formed on the lower part of the side of the transparent plastic lid 2 covering the container body made of the paper edge frame 1 and containing a processed food. On the lower end of the insertion portion, an outwardly directed projection 21 is formed, which comes in contact and engage with the locking projection 11 of the paper edge frame 1. The locking projection 21 formed on the outer periphery of the lower surface of the lid 2 comes in toward the lower surface of the locking projection 11 of the paper edge frame 1, and the lower surface of the locking projection 11 of the paper edge frame 1 comes in contact and engage with the upper surface of the locking projection 21 of the lid 2 by mutual elasticity.
